What is the difference between Subscription length and License length?  

The License length is the amount of time your program will be active.   For example, if you purchased a 90 day license, you may use the program for 90 days from the date you activate the license.   You have up to 365 days from date of purchase to activate the program.   The Subscription length represents the 365 day activation period plus the remaining time on your License

Can I use my smartphone to access the program?

Yes, you can use your smartphone.   Open www.datachemsoftware.com in your smartphone browser and click on “My Account” to login.   Click on “Current Programs” from the “My Account” Dropdown menu that appears once you have logged in.  Scroll down the screen to find “Start Program” next to your program name.   For more information, go to Tech Support

How can I find out how many days are remaining on my license

1. If you purchased a download, the download date will be listed on your program file.   The license starts counting on the download date.  To find the program file, the standard filepath for downloads is C:\Program Files (x86)\DataChem Software.  
2. If you purchased the online version, log into “My Account” and click on “Online Programs” on the left side of the screen.   Scroll down and click on the “+” sign next your program name to see the days remaining and expiration date.

I need to study a little longer, can I purchase additional license time to use my program.

My study plans have changed.   Can I pause my license?  

If you need to pause your online license for 30 or more days, please contact us at [email protected].

How do I decide between purchasing the online and download versions of the program.

1. The online version can be accessed from a computer, tablet or smartphone with internet access and a browser and is preferred by most users.
2. The download version is better suited for people without reliable internet access.   The download is only available for windows based computers, and may only be downloaded onto one computer.
